My mother had a prolonged death- and slowly died over a period of weeks while in the care of hospice. A few days before her death while she was mostly alert, she was talking to someone in the room that none of us could see. She kept saying "take care of the babies" as she would stare off into the air above her. We never knew if she was hallucinating or actually seeing something or someone we could not. Anyway, after she died that night, we took care of the necessary procedures with the nursing facility, my wife and I headed home. Nothing seemed unusual or different when we got home and we soon as we were both tired, we began to get ready for bed. I had just lain down and looked toward the doorway of the bedroom and there I saw this sort of green hovering light that was in sort of the shape of a human body. It looked more like some sort of mass of energy than any actual form. It hovered there for a few minutes and then disappeared. I never saw it again.
I am a person of faith
but also a person of logic and science. For months after seeing this, I tried
to convince myself that I really didn't see it, that somehow my mind played a
trick on me. But I know that it was real and I am convinced it was my mother's
final visit before departing to the beyond.
