I was lying on the sofa watching t.v. Caring for my younger siblings. I smelled a scent and as I turned around I saw my Great Grandmother hovering upright towards the ceiling. She had an odd smile and raise both her hands towards me as if she was calling me to her. I put my head down covered my head with my hands and waited for her to touch me. I felt her presence enhance and then I noticed that the scent was gone and the room felt lighter. I ran out of the house across the street to where my mother was at. Needless to say they all laughed at me.

Yes

it smelled like perfume (not very sweet)

Her home use to smell like the scent.

I would have to say the beginning was sudden and the ending appeared to be more gradual.

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience?         

Experience was definitely real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:         

I was awake when it occurred and looked straight at my great grandmother for a couple of seconds, even blinked my eyes a couple of times just to make sure. It was when she raised her hand to me I became scared.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?

I felt unsure at first than scared. I also wondered why she raised her hands to me.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?          

Yes

I spoke with her and told her I was sorry I was afraid of her. I told her that I loved her and would never forget her last words to me a couple of months before see died.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?     

The best was seeing my great grandmother again because I was not allowed to attend the funeral I had to watch my brothers and sisters. The worst part is not knowing what she wanted from me.

I do not judge anyones religion. I have become more curious about religion and spiritual material.

Yes     I realized that there is life after death. However, why they visit remains to be a question for me.

Yes My sister confimed that she saw my great grandmother that same night.

questions as why she came to me and why she raised her hands towards me. It was an uncomfortable and frighting experience.

I found out almost 20 years afterwards when talking to my youngest sister that she too have seen our Great Grandmother that same night. She did not tell anyone about it.

Yes
