#1 - mom passed at home in her bed, my cousin was
with me and had gone in to see what was going on with mom, she came into the
kitchen and told me that mom was gone, I went in and blessed her everlasting
soul, touching the top of her head, even though she hadn't taken a breath in
about 15 minutes, her cheeks flushed when I touched her #2 - the next morning I
noticed on the kitchen table there were two capital "A's" written in her script
in pencil on the table #3 - the same "A" in my mom's hand appeared on the front
of the refrigerator taking up the whole front, in pencil #4 - my cat suddenly
smelled like she had been sprayed with my mom's perfume....there was no way she
could have got it on her, this happened a couple more times...I kept finding
shiny new dimes in odd places, for a couple of years...

I
had been camping and went into the small town to shop, do laundry.
I went into a shop and bought a newspaper from Victoria BC (which I had
never done or even thought of doing before)...I went outside and immediately
turned to about the 4th page and there was an article - a "lost at sea" story,
it was Michael, lost overnight while sleeping on the deck of his sail boat...I
had not seen him or heard from him in about 3 years...when I saw him last he
told me he would never forget me.

#1
- I was sitting on my bed studying and not thinking of anything else but what I
was studying (my brother had gone to his place in Vancouver a couple of days
before, he was very ill but I was planning on having him for the summer) just
sitting studying, suddenly his voice popped into my head and I had a strong,
very strong feeling of partying, and fun, he was laughing and he said "you know,
it's really not so bad"...the next morning we got a phone call that he had
passed the night before, about when I had his voice and feeling pop into my head
#2- a week later I was back in Victoria and was going to take the ferry
to Vancouver the next day to make arrangements for Gord, memorial and all, clear
his apartment. I was just sitting on
the edge of the deck, no one else aound and I heard, coming from directly behind
my head, the whistle my brother and I used to use to signal each other when we
were camping, it was a secret whistle we used when we lost sight of each other
on trails.
