I was
playing board games in my room with some friends. When my phone rang, I answered
and it was a bad connection cutting in and out with static but through it all
was my fathers voice. He said, "This is you're dad. I love you." Right
after he said that, it clicked and went silent. He was gone.

My fathers voice it was fairly
clear and there was no doubt who it was.

The
night of my fathers death he accidently came across separation papers and other
info. that I specifically asked my mother to get. So a part of me blamed myself
for him committing suicide. My mother and father had severe problems with drugs
and alcohol and were often absent or a danger to be around. Our family life was
miserable and constant turmoil.
