I saw a series of very realistic dreams, more like visions about her.
--------------
She was at home by kitchen table as she usually was when she was alive and I arrive and she is talking and I interrupt and said "I am terribly sorry, but I thought you died and we shared all your inheritance" and then she just smiles. Then I asked "you are dead after all?" and then I regret that I made such a stupid question.
Next time I asked how she was. She said: "Don't you worry about me, everything is fine, worry about your inferiority complex. Buy yourself four boxes of chocolate if that makes you better".
Then we had her funeral at sea. When at sleep, I see the sea and nothing else, but I hear her voice: "I loved my funeral" and then she laughed happily.
Then once I find a cell
phone with only one number and I call it. Petra's friend, who is also dead,
answers. I hear Petra's voice in the background and ask her to give it to Petra.
"So, you have found your friend, Minni, you dead people are getting to know each
other" and then I think, if these people are dead and I am talking with them,
does it mean that I am dead also. "Look, Petra, I miss you very much, but I
can't join you, yet". I see both of them sitting on steps in a garden. She said
she misses me, too. Once I saw her on her kneels plugging and unplugging cords
in an audio system. I was thinking, oh, you have a sound system where you are
now.
Was this
experience difficult to express in words?
No
Did you ONLY sense
an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing,
feeling or smelling them?
No
Did you hear the
deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?
No
Did you feel a
touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?
No
Did you see the
deceased?
No
How long did the
experience last?
These visions
only lasted like one minute each.
Could you sense the
emotions or mood of the deceased?
Yes
Did the deceased
give you information you did not previously know?
Well, actually
her friend Minni, that I never met, did, because she answered the phone in
Finnish and at the time I thought it was strange, when Petra said that she met
her in Berlin. Then I found out that Minni had been in Finland all the time.
How do you
currently view the reality of your experience?
Experience was
definitely real
Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not
real:
Well, I have 44 years of experience about having all kinds of dreams. These were
different. They changed my perception. She thought that she was going to the
purgatory and she described in detail what it was like, so if I dreamt, I
would've dreamt her there. Her straightforward way of talking and acting was
reminiscent of her, not me. I had never thought about having a minority complex
and there she brings it up. Always willing to help, how she was when she was
alive. Only her negativity was gone and drinking problem.
Was
the experience dream like in any way?
No
Describe in
detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:
I was confused at
first, then I just did not want her to go away.
Was there any
emotional healing in any way following the experience?
Yes
I am not totally
consumed of worry about her.
What was the best
and worst part of your experience?
There is no bad part in
it. Now I know she is happy and everything is fine.
Did you have any
changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes
Now I am sure about life after death and her wellbeing.
Did the experience
give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God,
etc.? Yes
Now I am totally certain about life after death and I wish that I can reunite
with her.
Death Compacts
are when two or more living people promise among themselves that whoever dies
first will try to contact the other(s). Have you ever made such a
compact?
Uncertain
She said that she
would come haunting. She said that there was so much agony in her disease that
it would be recorded in the walls and in the building. She said that I would not
be advised to live in the apartment where she died. After two weeks I moved
away. There was no sign of that agony in the buildings or her appearances after
death. She was very interested in the paranormal, so that is a death compact in
itself. I expected her to appear.
Did you observe or
hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be
verified later?
Yes
Only what I said prior, Minni spoke Finnish although I had a prior idea of her
being in Germany.
What emotions did
you feel during the experience?
I really wanted to join
her, but it was not my time.
Was the experience
witnessed or experienced by others?
No
Did you have any
sense of altered space or time?
No
Did you have a
sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?
No
Did you become
aware of future events?
No
Did you have any
psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did
not have prior to the experience?
Uncertain
I have had a street
light going off at the Karjaa railway station a few times consecutively.
Did you experience
a separation of your consciousness from your body?
No
Did you meet or see
any other beings other than the deceased?
Yes
Minni, as said
above.
Did you see a
light?
No
Did any part of
your experience seem to occur in a place other than the location described
above?
No
Have you shared
this experience with others?
Yes
Some people had elated reactions. Some were supportive, like "I know what you
are talking about", some were like puzzled.
Have you shared
this experience formally or informally with any other researcher or web
site?
Yes
The Finnish
Paranormal Research Society.
Is there anything
else you would like to add regarding your experience?
Not really, no. I have
written them all in facebook updates, so there might be more that I do not
remember right in this sitting, but I have dates and all.
Were there any
associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the
experience?
No
Following the
experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or
substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
No
Did you ever in
your life have a near-death experience, out of body experience or other
spiritual event?
Yes
I had severe
tuberculosis, I lied in bed, motionless and I experienced great care and warmth,
love pouring from one specific direction and there was a person, who took my
hand and started to walk me out. And I could walk, even though I was totally
lethargic. So there we walked, but then I realized what it was and I took my
hand from this person's hand and I said "no!" and this person asked "no?" and I
said "no, I'm not finished yet!" again and then I woke up, nurses and doctors
around me in the emergency room.
Did the questions
asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively describe your
experience?
Yes
I might have a
little problem with my English when explaining these things.
