i would be
in a relaxed frame of mind sitting in/on my bed reading or just doing nothing.
when i would (FEEL) a presence i would look up and at the foot of my bed there
would be a form. not solid, but not see through and i would know some one
needed something or mum needed help. The thing i could never understand was that
i always knew it was dad and that his visits always concerned the family's needs
