As i was in a mild trance state, which usually occurs naturally when i am giving a massage or doing any healing work, a persistent and clear picture kept occurring in my mind's eye of an attic filled with boxes. I could see dust motes hanging in the air via sunlight coming in through a small window. An emotion of great frustration and stagnation accompanied the persistent picture.
The experience was so unusual (normally a trance state is more "empty headed") that I thought to ask my client if it meant anything to him. He was astounded. His sister, who had killed herself by jumping off a cliff the previous year, had all of her belongings stored in her mother's attic after her death. Her mother had so far refused to let them go, even though her siblings very much wanted to hang her art and distribute her belongings.
After he
told me this, I asked the spirit if she could give me a name that would prove
who she was. I heard the word "booba". I shared that with my client, who again
was floored. Her name for him as a baby was "buddha". Still not convinced (what
a skeptic, huh?), I asked for yet another word or name. I got "anahita", which I
had never heard before. I repeated this to him, and he said that her Sufi name
was "anahidra" (unsure of spelling). Finally I was convinced, and asked her why
she had come today. She said she very much wanted her belongings given out
amongst her family and friends, that it was very frustrating to her that they
were locked up in the attic, and that was keeping her here attached to this
plane.
