My beloved little black
poodle licked chemical poison off the floor of a borrowed camper. We took her to
a vet as soon as we realized something was wrong. She was at the vet for 3
days, fighting for her life. Sunday morning (the third day) at 2:00 am, I was
awakened by the sound of her trotting down the hall to my bedroom. She jumped up
on the end of my bed and traveled up to my lap. I sat up and hugged her. She
licked my face. I put my face down on her neck, I was so glad to see her. I
could smell her, it was really her! I missed her so, that I just breathed in her
smell. She licked me again, then tried to turn away, I grabbed her and asked
what she was doing here. She licked my cheek again and turned and jumped off the
bed and disappeared...Six hours later, at 8:00 am I got a call from the vet.
His assistant had gone in the office at 2:00 am to check on all the sick
animals. My Tuppence died just before the assistant arrived. Her body was still
very warm when he found her just a few minutes after 2:00 am.

Experience was
definitely real
Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not
real:
I had many OBEs as a child, I Probably had a NDE (but did not realize that was
what it was. I was changed by the NDE experience. I developed MANY spiritual
gifts after that. Since childhood, I been a vivid dreamer and gained
information from those dreams. I had prophetic dreams and warning dreams and
dreams that just frightened me until I learned to understand that God was trying
to tell me. I know the difference between dreams and reality....I know that
they are both real. I know that this experience was not a dream.

the experience dream like in any way?
No

in the vet hospital for the first few seconds. Then I remembered that she was
not at home, she should not be here, and that she was sick at the hospital.

give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God,
etc.? Yes
God gives us what we need. And I needed this. I still grieved for my lost pet,
but it was so much easier, knowing that she came back to see me.
I never really
considered dogs going to heaven, but I believe mine did. At least I am sure that
she came to tell me goodbye, before she went.

Tuppence died just before the assistant arrived. Her body was still very warm
when he found her just less than five minutes after 2:00 am.
What emotions did
you feel during the experience?
I felt her love for
me. She came back to see me, to tell me goodbye. That makes me emotional. I

realize that was what it was. I have 9/12 of Jeff Long's indicators) I was
changed by that experience. I developed MANY spiritual gifts after that. (some
very unusual and more metaphysical) Since childhood, I been a vivid dreamer
and gained information from those dreams. I had prophetic dreams and warning
dreams and dreams that just frightened me until I learned to understand that God
was trying to tell me.
