on what would have been our 40th wedding anniversary I was hoping for a sign.
a week previous, I had spoken to a credit card person over the phone telling her, I would like a new pin number that meant something to me as just could not remember the number they had given me. she gave me the choice of picking my own number down the street, or they could randomly assign one. I picked the random and it was sent as I spoke to her..........upon further thought (I was still on the phone with her) I said, never mind sending one, I will go to town and pick my own at the machine if she would tell me how to do it. when I said "just forget sending me your random number and I will pick the one I want, she said it had gone out automatically and I was to rip it up when it arrived.
The number I picked, was one which was pertinent to our anniversary.
When the random number arrived I was going to destroy it as she had suggested, but thought I would just have a glance to see what it was.............it was the SAME NUMBER..............I called the credit card people again asking if they had intercepted my newly chosen number...I spoke to two different people because I just could not believe it. They both assured me that all numbers are randomly picked and they were not allowed to know any pin numbers. When I asked what the chances of the same number being picked randomly and entered by a customer the numbers were 9,000 to one.
That was my sign for
our special day and I was overjoyed.
