I
had an out of body experience for the first time at age 16. I was in a car
accident. I 'died' and saw myself sitting in the car from above my body. I was
in a warm, bright light. I said to myself, "I am dead," and then chose to come
back into my body. Once in my body I took a deep breath as I had stopped
breathing. All this happened in milliseconds. Now I am 70 years old and have had
multiple, too many to count, psychic, 'knowing,' out of body, past life, vivid
dreams of talking to deceased, in my life.
Background Information:

bereavement for deceased immediately prior to the experience:

Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was
communicated:
my brother said, I cannot call you my little sister

most relelvant to me as my brother had committed suicide when I was 14 years old
and I grieved for years over my loss as he and I were very close.
Did the voice or sound seem to
originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice
or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?

realized I could not see the person's face, but that the person was elderly. I
sat down next to the person. She touched my lef with hers and I suddenly
realized it was my mother and then she showed me her face. I woke up very
excited to know she was still in my life even though I could not see her.
Was anything communicated by the touch?
My mother is still with me. Our touch ws affectionately warm and soothing to me.
Familiar

long dreams. I did
experience my friend's son who died from a drug overdose. That experience
happened when I as awake and lasted about 5 minutes.
Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?
Sudden. I was sitting in a room with a psychic, and he 'appeared' to me and told
me to tell his mother it was not suicide, but an accidental overdose. He knew
the person well that sold him the drug (fentanyl). He said to tell his mother
before his body touched the cement floor, he 'flew' into his deceased

I was the only person
in the room and held my father and then my mother 8 years later, in my arms and
they passed in my arms and I felt my father's 'soul' leave his body. I saw my
mother had sparkler-like projectiles coming out of the top of her head which I
assume was how her soul left her body.

changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes My friend was still
with me, he was happy and I was content and accepting of his passing. He was
only 45 years old when he died.
Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life,
death, afterlife, God, etc.?
Yes There is positively
a life after this physical one
Death Compacts are when two or more living people promise among themselves that whoever
dies first will try to contact the other(s).
Have you ever made such a compact?
Yes
When my male friend died of cancer in the hospital, I was holding him in my
arms. I didn't realize he had taken his last breath, but as soon as he must
have, he told me to call his mother. I called his mother and told her to hurry
to get to the hospital. After she arrived, I left and walked out into the
parking lot to get into my car. I felt very relaxed and somewhat having a
'floating in air' sensation. My friend who had just died was walking behind me
and jumping up and down and happy. He was happy to know he had gotten through to
me and his 'body' was whole again as he had not been bedridden for 8 months. In
our death compact, he had asked me to be with him when he died. I said I would
try. The likelihood of this was very slim, yet I left work early and went
straight to the hospital. He and I were alone in his room. We loved each other
very much.

I have been aware at times of future events since my out of body experience
