It
was about 8:10 pm, my husband and I were watching TV.
My dog growled and I felt something in the room.
I got up from my bed and walked to the end of my bed, my husband was
sitting in a chair on the opposite side of the room.
All of the sudden I could smell roses as if I were standing in a huge
rose garden. The smell was so strong.
I asked my husband, do you smell that?
He said no. I said, it smells
like I'm standing in the middle of a huge rose garden.
He told me, that sometimes happens when someone dies.
I was worried because my mother is aging so I called her right away to
check on her. She was fine.
I guess I should mention. My
good friend Rebecca was living in Texas at the time of her death, I was in West
Jordan Utah. She had been on her
social media telling everyone how sick she was and it wasn't getting better.
I told her to go to the doctor but she kept telling me she didn't have
insurance and could not afford to go.
I begged her to go and said her life was worth more then not having
insurance. About a week later I
noticed that her daughter had posted on her mothers page saying she was in the
hospital with Pneumonia and they had induced a coma.
I didn't check back for a few more days when I thought I should go check
her page. It was at that time that I
found out that she had died at 10:10 pm Texas time on the same evening I smelled
the roses. I didn't think to
remember the exact date of her death but I checked it against my experience and
realized she had come to say good-bye to me.
