My ex husband had passed away a few weeks earlier, and I was still having a difficult time thinking about it. I had taken a day off of work to take care of a few things, and was at home...I had been going through some photos, and was thinking about him a lot. I got up and took a shower, but just had this desire to know if he could "see" me. After I stepped out of the shower, I said out loud, "Paul, if you can see me and hear me...do me a favor.... let me know that by turning on my bedroom lamp when I go upstairs." I continued to get dressed, and slowly headed upstairs to my bedroom. As I was walking down the hall, I just kept wondering if the light would be on at all, or if I was just HOPING it would be on. As I got to my doorway....the lamp was ON! No one else was home at this time...and I had been in there just before I took my shower, and the light was NOT on. I sat next to the lamp and cried...sort of scared, but more happy than anything else. Previous to this, the light had come on for my son several times....often when he walked into the room.

Because there are no other explanations for the lamp to turn on by itself

I cried....I was happy that he gave me this sign I asked for..

Yes

I feel that he is watching over us, and it makes me feel good...that he's around

the best part is knowing my ex is still around

the worst part is knowing he can watch me shower LOL
