My mom had experienced a stroke on Sept. 20, 2020.
After being in the hospital and a few weeks in a facility to rehab, I
brought her home and took care of her at her home.
It was an honor to have been her caregiver.
My mom passed away here at home on Nov. 30, 2022.
She was in a coma-like state for the last week of her life, just sleeping
all the time. 2 nights before my mom
passed I noticed that 2 of the 3 electrical clocks in our house had stopped
working, but the 3rd electrical clock hadn't stopped working.
I hadn't noticed the lights going off, so I was surprised that some of
the electrical clocks weren't working.
We've lived in this house for 52 years and whenever there's a power
outage, even for a split second, all the electrical clocks go off as do the
lights. Some electrical items going
out but others not going out has never before happened.
I thought this was odd and reset the clocks.
The same thing happened again the next night (the night before my mom
passed). I told myself that I need
to call an electrician to fix whatever was happening with the electricity.
Please note that there was no storm on either night, so no reason for the
electricity to act strangely.
The next night saw no electrical disturbances.
I then came downstairs to check on mom around 5 AM and mom had passed
away. She hadn't passed for more
than 10 or 15 minutes before I found her as she looked fine.
I called hospice and a hospice nurse came to handle the paperwork.
A man from the funeral home then came to our house to take away mom's
body. He rolled in a gurney to put
mom's body into a body bag and then take her to the funeral home.
It took him no more than 5 seconds to transfer mom's body from the bed to
the gurney but in these 5 seconds the electricity went crazy.
The lights in this room all flashed wildly, but only for the few seconds
when mom's body was being transferred from the bed to the gurney.
Once mom's body was placed on the gurney, the lights stopped going
bonkers. The man from the funeral
home was really taken aback and said, 'whoa, that's something you'll never
forget'. He does this for a living
and even he was taken aback. Please
note that there were no storms at this time.
Again, we've lived in this house for 52 years and have never had some of the
power go out and some of it not go out.
Even if the power is out for a split second it affects the entire house
and not just some of the house.
3 weeks after mom passed we experienced a huge storm.
50 mph sustained wind gusts for 3 days and 40 below wind chills.
Throughout this monster storm the electricity never went out for even a
split second, yet when mom was passing (and no storms) the electricity was
abnormal to say the least.
My thoughts are that when some of the power went out and some if it didn't for
the 2 nights before mom passed was the result of someone coming to take mom but
for whatever reason she didn't go.
After passing away the next morning she was allowed to watch me find her.
Then when her body was being transferred to from the bed to the gurney,
whomever was with her said that it was time to leave and so they left in those
few seconds which caused the lights to freak out.

What occurred during your
experience included:
Content that was both consistent and not consistent
with the beliefs you had at the time of your experience
I didn't know anything about spirits and strange electrical phenomena when

spirits are essentially energy and can affect electricity when they're around
How accurately do you
remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around
the time of the experience?
I remember the experience as accurately as other
life events that occurred around the time of the experience
Discuss any changes
that might have occurred in your life after your experience:
While I didn't experience an NDE I believe that I
was given a hint that there is a spirit world and that there is life after
death. I spoke with the priest of my
church about this experience. He
said that his personal view is that when a human soul passes away the veil
between this life and the next can become rather thin which allows for glimpses
into the next life. I may have
experienced something along these lines
My
experience directly resulted in:
Slight changes in my life
