My parents and I were estranged.
I learned my father was in hospice and was angry no one told me.
I was instrumental in him being able to go home.
I practice hands on healing and believed he could have been healed.
He progressed to a coma.
I was moved to ask my son to take me to their house as I had no money for gas. I
put my bike in his Trunk to ride home.
When we got there my dad was burning up with fever. I put my hands on his head
and he cooled down. I told his caregivers they could do that and they looked at
me like I was crazy.
Because others were there I spoke to my dad in tbousht telling him Shawn and I
had come to say goodbye.
I rode my bike home and walked into my front yard by a tree and asked my dad
where he was as he certainly was not in that emaciated body.
I heard him say I'm in the sky, I'm in the tree ( as I put my hand on the tree)
I'm all around.
Then I heard a whooshing sould like air escaping a balloon and I heard him say
wheee, I'm free!
I walked up to the house and the phone was ringing. It was one of his care
givers calling to say he had died.
But I already knew.
