While I relaxing on my bed, I was just thinking about my grandmother who was at the time in a convalescing hospital when my grandfather passed.
I got up and turned off the light and continued to mentally schedule what I was going to do before I visit my grandmother, I knew I had to get up early the next day to help my mom pack up my grandfathers things, since my aunt was still upset over her fathers death.
My bedroom was fairly lighted by the streetlight, as I turned over I couldn't get comfortable so I ended up fluffing my pillows and laid back down as I closed my eyes I heard a voice at first it sounded faraway and then right in my right ear as if someone was leaning over and calling my name, I didn't open my eyes right away until the voice said Joanna its me grandpa open your eyes.
when I opened my eyes there he was in living color, I sat up and asked him why he was here he said I want you to tell your mother that I have just put a yellow envelope in the bottom dresser drawer for her only it is not for anyone else but her, so I said ok and then he asked me how was doing and I said ok but I miss you, he said I know but you don't need to worry.
I'm doing great, make sure you watch over your grandma, soon I will be coming for her, and then he said he had to go, he leaned down and kissed me on my forehead and then he was gone. I got up and told my mother and father it was still early about 11:20, they responded by telling me that I probably was dreaming, so I insisted that they check the dresser sure enough it was right where my grandfather said it would be.
Here's the kicker. The next day my mom had told me that my grandfathers cane and jacket were laying on top of the dresser, she insisted that the items were put in the closet and the drawer where I said the envelope was, she said that she had cleaned the drawers out but when she opened the drawer it was filled back up and the envelope on top 7 months later my grandfather woke me up to tell me that he would be coming to take my grandmother in the morning and that she was going to be ok and for me not to worry..
