Experience description:

Sitting at the table, I could hear my friends voice telling me that her daughter was getting married. I tried to ignore this information, but it kept nagging at me so I went and checked her daughters Facebook page and found this information to be true. I was shocked, because at that point I knew that what I had heard was true and real, and I had just experienced something wild and profound. This visit lasted an entire weekend, she kept coming back to me and talking and laughing as if she were right there with me.

 Was this experience difficult to express in words? No

 Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?          No

 Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?       Yes

           Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:          I could hear her speak as if she were right in front of me. This was clear communication.

           Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?          I could hear her words clearly, but they came from within, not outside of me...but they were not my words.

           If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?    Her voice is exactly as it was when she was alive.

           Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience? NO

           Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?       No

 Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?       No

 Did you see the deceased?       Yes

 I could see her in my minds eye, as if she were standing in front of me.

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            I could see her face.

            How much of the deceased did you see?       I saw her face.

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?   Not the age of death, she appeared younger, as she would in my memory.

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?           She looked great!!

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience? NO

 Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased? No

 How long did the experience last?      3 Days

 Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?      It all happened suddenly and it ended suddenly.

 Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?          Yes

 She was feeling good, she was happy and upbeat, and she came to me with love.

 Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?          Yes, she gave me info to verify, and it was accurate.

 How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          Experience was definitely real

           Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:   It was real. It happened to me, so I know it's real.

           Was the experience dream like in any way?  No

 Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  At first I thought I was losing my mind, I did not understand what was happening to me or why it was happening. I was bit frightened by it, but I was intrigued as well.

 Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience? No

 What was the best and worst part of your experience?          There is no worst part, it was all good!

 Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? Yes                Describe:     I'm more drawn to the spiritual aspects of life.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience? Yes    I do not discount anything in Gods world

 Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?         Yes    This is not the end...there is more to life after death.

 Death Compacts are when two or more living people promise among themselves that whoever dies first will try to contact the other(s).  Have you ever made such a compact?         No

 Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?         Yes Yes, it was verified.
What emotions did you feel during the experience?          Feelings of joy, feelings of fear, feelings of not being able to discuss it with others because they would not understand, I had a lot of fear.

 Was the experience witnessed or experienced by others?          No

 Did you have any sense of altered space or time?  No

 Did you have a sense of knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?         No

 Did you become aware of future events?      Yes

 She told me her daughter was going to get married, when I looked her daughters facebook page, I found she was newly engaged and getting married.

 Did you have any psychic, paranormal or other special gifts following the experience that you did not have prior to the experience? Yes

Yes, more spirit visits.

 Did you experience a separation of your consciousness from your body?  No

 Did you meet or see any other beings other than the deceased?   No

 Did you see a light?        No

 Did any part of your experience seem to occur in a place other than the location described above?     No

 Have you shared this experience with others?      

Yes    Mixed reactions, but most are positive. Some people are just not interested in hearing about these things, and others wanted to know more.

 Have you shared this experience formally or informally with any other researcher or web site?       No

  Is there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience? This was my first experience of this nature, however, it followed a spiritual experience I had the year before. Briefly, I was sitting in my livingroom in the spring of 2013, folding laundry, listening to Miranda Lambert sing Over You on the radio, when I was suddenly filled with the most amazing feeling I've ever felt...and I felt so light and so much love and it was God telling me that I'm a part of it all and I have my own work to do, my own course to chart, and in doing so I'm contributing to Gods work. Previously, I had been asking God what my purpose is, what am I here to do? And in that moment I found my answer. I cried for two weeks after this experience, it was the most beautiful, amazing experience I have ever had.

 Were there any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect the experience?          No

 Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life, medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?    Uncertain 

Not sure what you mean here, I've not had any events or taken meds that reproduce these experiences...but I don't have to, they just happen, without warning...no props needed.

 Did you ever in your life have a near-death experience, out of body experience or other spiritual event?     Yes 

I've had one or two out of body experiences in the shower. Water seems to be a great connector for me, I have many experiences when I'm in the water. I've had multiple spiritual events in regards to spirit visits, a few spirits continue to visit me and new ones show up periodically.
