I had a dream. In my dream there was a heavy fog. All I could see was darkness and fog. There was a light behind the fog. It appeared to be headlights. There were no people visible in the dream. However, there was a presence. I could feel my friend Kevin present in the dream. It was like he was in the fog. He was telling me that he was okay. Everything was okay. That was it, the dream was over.
When I awoke I lay in bed thinking about what an odd dream it was. You see, Kevin had gone out of town for the weekend. He went on a trip with his fraternity brothers to the Ozarks. He was supposed to have come home that night. I remember thinking I needed to call him and tell him about my weird dream.
I got our
of bed, turned on the radio and started getting ready for work. While I was
listening to the radio they reported on a fatal car accident. It had occurred at
4:38 in the morning. The driver of one of the vehicles was Kevin. They said that
he had died at the scene of the accident.
