I am a doubter. I don't believe in things unless you show me. I don't believe in ghosts, Bigfoot or that aliens have visited earth. Before my event, I would have called everyone on this website wishful thinkers. I am the least likely person to believe in after death communications. I thought that God had no reason to mix life with afterlife. We are either here or there and the two shall never meet. Then around 1996 when I was 32 years old I had an incredible experience.

During this time I was going through a very difficult custody battle over my infant son. I was saddened by this and stressed. One night I was sleeping and I was in a dream state. In my dream I was sad as I looked out a dining room window of my house. Out the window I saw nothing but blackness. Then I sensed a presence behind me. In an instance the being or entity behind me suddenly and quickly entered my body. This entity completely occupied my body (along with me) from head to toe. My body was filled with a pure energy that was powerful beyond description. Every cell, every molecule was alive with the energy of this other being. The entity and I became one. We were sharing the same space. At first I was confused as to what was going on and then fearful not knowing if this was a good or bad thing that was happening. Within seconds the entity communicated to me in my own thoughts that I should relax and enjoy this because it was a good. I then enjoyed the event for what it was.

The whole episode lasted under 30 seconds. During this time I was in awe of the power and energy of this being. It was never clearly communicated to me who this was. My dad had died about 11 years previous but I also had grandparents that were dead too. All that I know was the feeling was unbelievable. Human words and images cannot describe how much power and energy this entity had. It was a fantastic feeling. I didn't want it to ever end. Whatever it was, I got the sense that it was all powerful and could do anything it wanted to do. The feeling was better than any sensory experience on earth. It was better than the best sex, better than the best music, best food, best amusement ride, the best sunset or scenery on earth. There is nothing on earth to even come close to compare to the wonderful feeling I was experiencing. It was pure, sheer, awesome power and energy in every molecule of my body. I was alive with another being inside of me.

After less than 30 seconds, the entity faded from my body over a couple of seconds. It left less suddenly than it entered. The moment it left my body I awoke with a startle. I was breathing fast and eyes wide open. I was lying flat on my back with my arms and legs stretched out. I was in the dark in my bedroom in the middle of the night. I was confused about what had happened but I also felt very content and good. The next day or so I told my mom about this, and she  proceeded to tell me that she had a similar experience and so did my sister some 5 years previous but that theirs occurred while they were awake. They also got the distinct message that it was dad. They both expressed confusion or fear over the suddenness of it and its power. But they both then understood it was a good thing and to enjoy it. They both said it was the most wonderful experience they have ever had. They both wish it would happen again.

 I have two other brothers and three other sisters and the experience hasn't happened to any of them. How or why me, my mom and sister were chosen is beyond me. One common factor was all three of us were feeling down about things in our life when the events happened to us. Perhaps this was a pick me up from the after life. I didn't get the distinct message that it was my dad so I leave the door open to the entity being an angel, God or another deceased relative. However, I suppose my dad makes the most sense if my mom and sister clearly got the message it was him. My mom was walking to her car one night when my dad completely filled her body and my sister was sitting at her desk at work when her body was entered. None of us was thinking about my dad at the time. It came suddenly, was great and ended under 30 seconds later. Even though my mom and sister told me about similar events, I wanted to know that this has happened to others outside our family.

And now I know we are not alone when I read others on this site that tell about pure powerful energy entering and filling their bodies. It is refreshing to know this special event has happened to others. If I hadn't read others say the same thing, I would have always had a tiny bit of doubt as to whether this really happened to me and two relatives or whether me and my two relatives have some sort of strange genetic problem that would make your body become alive with pure energy beyond comprehension. Now I know with 100% certainty that this was no scientifically explained bodily action but was instead a communication from the after life. I will never forget the pure powerful energy filling every molecule of my body. I hope to experience it for eternity when I die.

Was this experience difficult to express in words?            Yes

Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?            No

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?          Yes

            Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:    Very clearly a voice in my head told me to relax and enjoy this experience that this was good, that it was ok.

            Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?  It was a voice inside me, inside my head. It wasn't something my ears heard,

it was as if it was my own thoughts but the message was being communicated to my thoughts.

            If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           It was not the voice or sound of the deceased but it was their communication to me direct to my own thoughts. Listen to your mind right now as you read these words. What you hear in your head as you read is your own thoughts. I heard my own thoughts like I was reading a book yet the entity controlled what my thoughts were telling me.

            Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           no

            Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   no

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?            Yes

I wasn't touched but rather filled up from head to toe with the entity and the energy of that entity. It was as if another person that was more powerful than you can comprehend walked into your body and occupied the same space as you.

            Was the touch familiar or unfamiliar?   unfamiliar

            Was anything communicated by the touch?  The communication was to relax and enjoy the energy. This was good and not to be afraid of it.

            Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?  No

Did you see the deceased?         No

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

How long did the experience last?        It was probably less than 30 seconds.

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?         The beginning was very sudden. One second I was alone, and the very next second my body was filled with the entity from head to toe. The end was more gradual. The entity did not leave my body as suddenly. It was a quick fade over a couple seconds.

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Uncertain

What I sensed was pure energy. More powerful than anything a person could imagine or create. I guess you wouldn't call that an emotion or mood. But it did seem to be perfect and pure bliss. Human words cannot describe the power that this entity had. I had the sense that it could anything it wanted to do.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  no

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           It was real because it was unlike anything I have ever experienced on earth and I don't believe it will ever happen to me again while I am alive. Also, the experience happened to my sister and mother some 5 years prior to mine. But they never told me until I told them about my experience because they didn't want to sound crazy to others. Also, I am reading on this website about others that have had an incredible energy force enter their bodies.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   Uncertain

I was sleeping and in a dream state. However, although the event happened in a dream, the entity entering my body happened to my physical body. This did not happen in my brain only. My body was physically occupied by the entity and its energy. It was as real as the words you see before your eyes right now. It happened. It was unbelievable. It was paradise.

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           At first, when the entity entered my body I was very concerned perhaps fearful about what was happening. The energy entering my body was so sudden and so powerful that I didn't know what it was, or if it meant me harm. My body was being occupied by another being that could do anything it wanted because of the sheer power. In mere seconds, the being communicated to my thoughts to relax and enjoy this, that this was a good thing, not a bad thing. Once I understood that, I was comfortable with the sensation of power and enjoyed it. I was in complete awe of the power inside me. Every cell, every molecule, was alive with energy. It was unbelievable. It was incredible. It was beyond comprehension even as I experienced it.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?           Yes

I wasn't as sad knowing someone or something was looking over me in my times of need.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      The best part was experiencing the sheer power and energy of the being occupying my body. The power and energy was beyond my comprehension. 

The worst part was the initial seconds not knowing what was going on and worrying if it was good or bad. The other worst part was after it was over, wanting it to happen again and again.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?         No      

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?   Yes     My attitude of death changed. I thought that if this is what we have to look forward to when we die, we would all want to be dead right now. What I experienced is probably only a tiny fraction of how great the afterlife is. I experienced this for less than 30 seconds and I am here to tell you that you do not need to be sorry for ANYONE that dies because they are experiencing the most incredible thing that is beyond imagination. One entity occupied my body and it was pure bliss. What if in the after life several, or hundreds, or thousands of entities occupy the same space? The feeling would be incomprehensible.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?            Yes     If this is what heaven is like it is going to be better than anyone could possibly imagine. Our human minds cannot comprehend how wonderful the afterlife is.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?            I was confused about what had just happened and yearned for it to return. Then later I was in awe of the power I had experienced.

Did you meet or see any other beings other than the deceased?            Uncertain

I am uncertain if the entity that entered and occupied my body was my deceased father, an angel, God or some other deceased relative such as grandparents. I didn't receive a clear communication of who the entity or being was. I would definitely say it was my dad except for the sheer power this entity had. Perhaps when we die we also turn into such a pure powerful energy. However, it was so powerful that my weak human mind can only imagine that only God or an angel would be so powerful. It is hard thinking of your dad as having that much energy and power because it is so supernatural. I suppose I am over-analyzing it like I often do.

Have you shared this experience with others?        

Yes     My mother and sister were awestruck when I told them because it had happened to them some 5 years previous to me. Theirs happened when they were awake though and they both got the distinct message that it was dad. When I tell others that have never had it happen they listen but don't seem too interested. My guess is they either don't believe it or simply don't understand how wonderful it was. I guess it is like showing someone your vacation photos. It didn't happen to them so it is only mildly interesting.

 Is there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience?       You have to trust me when I tell you, based on my experience, all of our deceased friends and relatives are in a wonderful fantastic place; and we all have so much to look forward to when we die. It is paradise times infinity.
