I was sleeping in a hotel in the town where Kyle had just died...  (approximately 12 hrs after his death, 

I was sound asleep and I felt a presence,, as if a man was about to climb into bed with me... I felt fear... I yelled out my husbands name..

it happened very quickly..

I opened my eyes and looked at the next bed and my husband was not moving and was in bed...

I could see nothing.

there seemed to be a mental communication...I could see nothing..

I soon realized that it was Kyle's presence and  I apologized for not recognizing him.. and told him (MENTALLY)  I had been frightened,, he said he was sorry that I did not recognize him and then seemed to move farther and farther away . there seemed to be someone with him but I did not detect a presence...but sensed that this other presence was hurrying him to leave..

Kyle told me "said", ''I HAVE TO GO NOW MOM'   and I felt an EXTREME  sense of SORROW,,,,, COMING FROM KYLE  ... it was not coming from me...  that seemed very clear. THEN,  there was a Very Bright Light,, a Yellow / Green Flash  of the most Vivid Nature.. unlike anything I had ever seen or felt before. Similar , but not the same, as the bright green/yellow flash sometimes seen at sunset at the horizon...BUT, 10 TIMES MORE VIVID.. 

then there was nothing,,, the room felt normal... I then  called to  my husband to come to me and told him what had happened..

            Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?  it seemed to originate outside of me but I did not hear it with my ears.. I heard it internally..

            If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?           It was the same as in real life

            Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?           NO

            Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   No

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?            Yes

near my head.. about 6 inches away..

            Was the touch familiar or unfamiliar?   I did not immediately recognize the close presence

I felt startled, and fearful

            Was anything communicated by the touch?  not that I could feel... I was totally feeling fear and a startle response..

            Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?  NO

Did you see the deceased?         No

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?      No

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?           Yes

I sensed that KYLE FELT DISAPPOINTED  that I did not know it was him at first.. and then I felt his INTENSE SADNESS when he had to leave.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  No

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?           Experience was definitely real

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:           there was an absolute feeling of TRUTH about it.. I have no doubt

            Was the experience dream like in any way?   No

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:           first, frightened, fearful, surprised, then sorry,, and sad.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?           Yes

The experience validated my understanding of our relationship.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      the worst part was feeling frightened,, and feeling that I missed some time and contact with Kyle. 

the best ,, is that I did have the time with him. and that he was more or less ok.

I still feel sad knowing, how sad he felt to have to leave..

I feel fortunate to have had a last contact with my son even if brief, and feel sorry that it was confused by my fearful feelings and  that I didn't recognize his presence at first,

my husband was sleeping in the next bed. he heard me call out his name

as Kyle was leaving there was an intense bright yellow, green flash of approximately 2 seconds.

I don't think my experience has influenced him in any way..

 Is there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience?       im glad to have the opportunity to share this experience. I wonder if others have had similar experiences??

I would guess "yes"..

I have studied near death experiences but never anything like this..
