My experience is after my mother passed away very unexpectedly on March 23, 2004, she came to me while I was sleeping one night. It all happened after her death in March and my husband and children and I decided to move back home closer to my family and be near my brothers, sisters and my father. We had bought our first home and and moved in on May 1st, 2004. Well some time had went by since her death and I was and still grieving for her badly.

We had gotten moved in and a week or so went by and one night while I was sleeping I woke up or at least opened my eyes up and I felt someone starring at me as I looked up, I was still lying down in the bed. I see my mother looking down at me while I was lying down. She didn't have no light around her or see thru or nothing. She looked so real like she had never passed away, she had clothes on and she just looked like herself as a breathing human being. I stared at her while she stared at me too. It was like she was looking at me when I was sleeping keeping a eye on me. It was so peaceful and heavenly, I can still close my eyes and see that image in my head over and over again. After that brief exchange we had together of looking at each other I quickly for some dumb reason closed my eyes. It was as if I was not believing my own eyes at what I was seeing. I opened my eyes back up and she was gone. I sat up in bed then and looked around and my husband was still sleeping, I wanted to wake him up but, I knew he wouldn't believe it. I was up for the rest of the night!!
 
Did you see the deceased?        

Yes

There was no difference in when she was alive, she looked as if she was still living.

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            My mother was clear to see. She was solid

            How much of the deceased did you see?       all of her head to toe

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?       she was the same age as when she passed away.

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            very healthy 

How long did the experience last?       

the whole experience I would say took 15mins.

            Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:         

I know in my heart what I saw that night, I know it was real. it was my mother  coming to see me I guess to let me know she's happy and healthy and she's looking at me as if I were her baby all over again.

            Was the experience dream like in any way?  

No

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?          

Yes

I am able to peacefully deal with her not being with me on earth as a whole human being but, I see her as my guardian angel watching me thru out the rest of my life.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?     

the best part was I got to see my mother. the worst part was she went away when I opened my eyes the second time.

            Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?   Yes     I know now there is life after death, I believe everyone will experience it in their own way.
