The second
was just a couple of days ago. My husband had a bad accident but was fine. That
night after returning from the hospital, I tried to go to sleep but couldn't. I
was so upset over the day's events. I prayed silently to myself (my husband was
asleep already) that I could calm down and sleep peacefully. At that moment, I
felt as if a hand was stroking my forehead. I felt this feeling for quite some
time. I calmed down immediately. As I drifted off to sleep I still felt this. I
had the most peaceful sleep I've ever had. The whole time I had the feeling it
was my grandmother. I didn't even question what it was. I just knew.

Describe:
I find that I want to learn
about other religious aspects or possibilities other than Baptist.
Did the experience give you
any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God,
etc.?
No
It only left me with questions.
I was raised Baptist, and their doctrine specifies that spirit contact of any
kind is prohibited. But it happened to me. I feel that I am questioning my
values. I find myself asking if what I learned as child is really true. I then
feel a certain amount of guilt for questioning.

during the experience?
1st experience- confusion.
2nd
experience- peacefulness.

My husband thinks it was a

Yes. But I can't remember the

know it was real or unreal.

experience?
No
