My twin sister and I were in bed asleep. It was the night of Uncle Pearl's funeral. Uncle Pearl came into our room. We both saw him. He didn't scare us at all and we both knew that he had died. He told us to, "Take care of grandma for him" and then he left.
Some people say my sister and I were dreaming, but how could we both dream about the same thing? We were happy to see him and were weren't scared at all.
Uncle Pearl was always
thinking of others and grandma and him were very close.
Was this
experience difficult to express in words?
No
Did you hear the
deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?
Yes
Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:
He told my
sister and I to take care of grandma for him. We both heard him.
Did
the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you,
or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was
communicated?
It was just like in real life when someone talks to you.
If
you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound
the deceased made when they were alive?
It was exactly the
same.
Is
there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the
surroundings at the time of your experience?
No.
Was
there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?
No.

touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?

surroundings at the time of your experience?
No.
Did you smell a

No
How long did the
experience last?
It seemed like
he left us way to soon. We didn't want him to go. He was only there a minute or
so.
Was the beginning
and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?
He was just
there when we both woke up. It left suddenly, too.
Could you sense the
emotions or mood of the deceased?
Yes
Concerned for
grandma, but happy to see us and happy to be going to Heaven.
Did the deceased
give you information you did not previously know?
No. He just
wanted us to take care of grandma. He would be like that normally. He wouldn't
have to worry about grandma. Grandpa was very good to here. He was just that
type of person to worry about others.

we felt after the funeral.
Have you shared this experience formally or informally with any other researcher
or web site?
No
Is
there anything else you would like to add regarding your experience?
I've
had this experience several times. One time Jesus took me to Heaven to visit
with him. It was beautiful. He told me to pick the flowers. I didn't want to
because I didn't want to take one to have it wilt and die. He encourage me to do
this and when I picked one it grew back. I didn't want to leave when he told me
it was time. He asked me why I was so upset about my son. I told him because
he could get killed in Iraq. He told me that the worst thing that could happen
would be his death. If I didn't want to leave, Kyle would feel the same and that
he'd take good care of him and he'd wait for me. I asked him to not let him
suffer if something happened. He agreed and I woke up in my bed. I hadn't
slept in several days form worry. After that experience, I accepted the fact
he'd be in Iraq for a year and I could deal with it better.
Were there any associated medications or substances with the potential to affect
the experience?
No
Following the experience, have you had any other events in your life,
medications or substances which reproduced any part of the experience?
Yes
When
I had my son in the hospital, when I really worried about something, and after
someone's death that I was close to.
Did
you ever in your life have a near-death experience, out of body experience or
other spiritual event?
Yes
I
had a cesarean and during the night I woke up and tried to get my body up or to
push the nurse button because I knew I needed help. I walked down the hall as a
cloudy image to get the nurse but they couldn't see or her me. I was trying to
tell them I needed help. Then, I went to the corner of my room by the ceiling. I
couldn't get out. Jesus told me he wanted me to stay on earth to take care of my
son. So, I went back to bed. In real life the nurses came in and I was having
a problem with blood pressure so they took care of me.
Did
the questions asked and information you provided accurately and comprehensively
