I knew when Barbara died. She walked up to a pitch black wall and opened a door. Beyond the door was bright white light. Before she went through the door, she said 'see you later.' Very soon after that, I felt and saw a very strong bond of 100% commitment between us. It's an unbreakable bond. A day or so after that, I see her blue orb with her telepathic talking to me. I knew it was her. This was in the evening when I was watching TV. Later, in the morning, she told me that she has a choice of 18 husbands. The next morning I think she came to me in spirit and kissed me on the lips. I partially got out of my body to meet her lips for a kiss. On another morning, she came to me and told me that I was her husband. So, she had chosen me. Another time, while I was in the basement working on something, she asked me a question about our relationship way back then. She also, later, stated that she was embarrassed at how she behaved with me back when we dated. There were so many experiences that I can't recall all of them. Some of them are too personal to share. While all of this was going on, I had lucid dreams with her as well. I may have the order of these experiences not exactly correct but the content is as I remember them. There's probably more that I can't recall right now. She only seemed to communicate when there was a need to do so. For example, I would get disappointed if I didn't dream of her, and I wondered what she had done with me during this time. She told me that she knew what I needed to heal. She's not talkative at all, but I guess many of them aren't that way. Eventually, the communication has mostly gone away now, a few months later. I only dream of her once in a while now.

Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them?      No

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?          Yes

          Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:   Well, telepathy counts as hearing for me. I'm not extremely talented with telepathy, but I can make out what she said, as I reported above.

          Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?     It's telepathy. I hear her inside my head. It's obvious that it's not my imagination. Also, on a couple of times I felt this strong tingling sensation on the right side of my head.

          If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?     It's her voice.

          Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   nope.

          Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   nope, not relevant really.

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?         No

Did you see the deceased?       Yes

Well, she didn't fully appear when she hovered over me while I was laying on my back in the bed. But, we did kiss and that was clear right there.

            How clearly did the deceased appear?            Just when her lips met mine were they clear. The rest of her was wispy and undefined.

            How much of the deceased did you see?       Just her lips when she kissed me.

            Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?           I don't know if lips age...

            How healthy did the deceased appear to be?            Don't know.

            Is there any possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   nope.

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased? No

How long did the experience last?      It was very brief, a few seconds.

Was the beginning and end of the experience gradual or more sudden?       it was sudden.

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?          Yes

She loves me with all of her heart and more.

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?  Yeah, about having a choice of 18 possible husbands, and then choosing me. She also told me that she was embarrassed by how she behaved when we dated, but really all I got was embarrassed. I knew what she meant though.

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?          Experience was definitely real

          Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:   I can't make this up. that's why. No way in my imagination did I think that she is my twin flame. I wasn't really certain about that topic at all before she told me.

          Was the experience dream like in any way?  No     

Describe in detail your feelings/emotions during the experience:  It was the most special love I have ever known. She has this soft feminine quality to her that is extremely delicious to me.

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience? Yes

I stopped grieving over losing her when we dated in 1981. I had been grieving over her for 4 years prior to her death. We had not communicated in person for over 40 years before she died. Yet, we are still connected and I still have the same passion and love for her that I've always had.

What was the best and worst part of your experience?          The best part was kissing her again, and having lucid dreams of kissing her. The worst part is that I can't be with her at will. I don't have the ability very much to go to where she is now. I tried once, but she got very surprised and ran off. I think it's better to just let her contact me if she wants to instead of me going chasing after her. I don't think she likes that.

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? Yes                Describe:     I used to just think of her every day before she died. It was like I'm having an ongoing conversation with her all the time, except that I mostly don't hear her side. Now I know that she's listening to me all the time, or most of the time, if she wants to. I'm certain that our connection is more real now, in other words. I'm kinder to my wife now as a result of all of this.

Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?      Yes    She showed me that we are twin flames. I wasn't sure about that before, but several images she shared with me, as well as lucid dreams and other things, proved to me that mirror souls are real.

Also, the idea that we can be married in the afterlife is new to me.

Did the experience give you any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God, etc.?         Yes    Yes Swedenborg's idea of marriage by God in heaven is apparently a thing that happens to some people. Barbara chose me to be her husband. I'd never heard of being married in heaven before. None of the books and other information I have found mentions actual marriage in the afterlife. It's apparently real.

Did you observe or hear anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be verified later?          No

What emotions did you feel during the experience?          Just love!

Did you see a light?        Yes  I see souls as tiny balls of light with radiating auras. They are most often blue or purple, but sometimes white or gold.

Did any part of your experience seem to occur in a place other than the location described above?     Yes

In the beginning, she was hanging out around me a lot wherever I was at the time. I was aware of her presence around me.

Have you shared this experience with others?         Yes, to some extent on Reddit. Some don't believe me, others do. I don't know if they've been influenced.

Oh yes. I have had many OBEs in my life. I found two women IRL via OBEs and LD's. The second one became my current wife. I've had so many spiritual experiences that I can't count them all.
