I
was sleeping and a dream had just ended. Even though I was asleep I was aware of
a voice above and to the left of me saying something like 'I'm glad you didn't
stay out all week. I'm glad your father didn't keep you out all week.' This was
in reference to my not having stayed home the full week from work after she
passed. I thought a new dream was starting. I felt myself shift to the right in
my sleep. All of a sudden my mother's voice entered my head above my right ear
and she started talking to me in my head. I was a little panicked at first
because it was such a strange phenomenon.
I could hear her speaking but I could not focus on what she was saying.
She did not sound upset. She was very casual as if leaving a voicemail message.
At one point, I heard a male voice in the room say 'that's interesting.'
It was not my father's voice. I suspect it was a spirit guide who helped lead my
mother to me since I had just recently moved to Pennsylvania and she did not
know where I was living. I have since figured out that the male spirit was
reading a saying on my wall that he found interesting. As I started to slowly
come awake, her voice left my head and I heard her say 'You asked me if I saw
you, if I was there. I was there. I
did see you.' This was in reference
to a visit I made to our family home 6 days after she died. I came in the house
and asked 'Mom, are you here, do you see me?'
