On three separate occasions all within a month of each other, my father appeared to me like out of Shakespeare's MACBETH. Each occasion was upon awakening...I was between being fully awake and asleep. I don't recall too much about the first two appearances other than I know that he appeared to me. On the third and last appearance, I carried on a conversation with him. He told me that he was ok and that everything would be ok with me. (at the time, I was in a prison dormitory...a few months after this experience I was released) On this last appearance, he told me that he had somewhere to go and that he wouldn't be appearing to me anymore. He just wanted me to know that he was alright. I begged him not to go and began to cry...then when I looked around I noticed several other inmates looking at me like I was crazy. I asked them if they saw my dad and they all said that they did not see anything. a couple opined that I was "nuts".
PS...I
have experienced a ghost 20 years ago in Colorado but that's another
episode...and then there is my NDE experience that is part of my medical records
(written up by the attending surgeons of how I began to speak while deep under
anesthesia and undergoing a pneumonectomy in the year 2000)
After your experience,
did you consider the contents of your experience:
Wonderful
Have you had multiple
experiences? Yes
three with my father one with an unknown person and another that I've written
about involving my near death experience where I died on an operating table and
was told by the surgeons that I began to speak with Jesus while under anesthesia
Was this experience difficult
to express in words?
No
Did you ONLY sense an
awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling
or smelling them?
No
Did you hear the deceased or
hear something associated with the deceased?
Yes
Describe what
you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:
I heard my dad speaking to me and
I spoke back to him...we had a conversation
Did the voice or
sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not
hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?
I heard him speaking to me like he
did when he was alive
If you heard a
voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the
deceased made when they were alive?
similar to when he was alive
Is there any
possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings
at the time of your experience?
no
Was there any
possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?
no
Did you feel a touch or
experience any physical contact from the deceased?
No
Did you see the
deceased?
He
appeared just like he was when he was alive..he appeared to be healthy and in
mid-life...he looked like my dad
How clearly did
the deceased appear?
he appeared a little transparent
but not as transparent as the ghost I saw in Colorado in 1977
How much of the
deceased did you see?
all
Did the deceased
appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?
He appeared to be the same as when
he died but healthy
How healthy did
the deceased appear to be?
he looked healthy
Is there any
possibility what you saw was from any other source present in the surroundings
at the time of your experience?
no
Did you smell a distinct
smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?
No
How long did the experience
last?
a few minutes
Was the beginning and end of
the experience gradual or more sudden?
the ending was sudden
he appeared confident, alert,
alive, well
Did the deceased give you
information you did not previously know?
he told me that everything
would be ok for me (at the time I was an inmate in a state prison)
How do you currently view the
reality of your experience?
Experience was definitely real
Please explain
why you view the reality of your experience as real or not real:
I know that there is another
dimension and that when we cross over we will retain our identities and be able
to communicate with others. It's about the same as here on Earth except at the
same time different.
Was the
experience dream like in any way?
N0 comment
This particular experience with
my dad was in between sleep and awake..while another time I was fully awake and
the other time I was under anesthesia and have no recall except what I've been
told by my doctors
Describe in detail your
feelings/emotions during the experience:
With my father I felt very
connected and just wanted to be with him. When he told me that he had somewhere
else to go and that he would not be returning I felt very sad
Was there any emotional
healing in any way following the experience?
Yes
It's a little difficult to
explain but I know that there's a lot of LOVE between he and I and that to me,
my dad was the greatest dad that ever there was
What was the best and worst
part of your experience?
The best is in the knowing that
there is an afterlife...there isn't any downside or worst except perhaps the
separation
Has your life changed
specifically as a result of your experience?
Yes
Describe:
Undoubtedly. My life is totally different as are my interests etc. I'm only
interested in helping others avoid the same pitfalls that I experienced in life
and to share my story in that Jesus is REAL and NOW and doing the same thing
today that the Bible said He was doing 2000 years ago!
Did you have any changes
of attitudes or beliefs following the experience?
Yes I have become very religious and am in constant prayer
Did the experience give you
any spiritual understandings such as life, death, afterlife, God,
etc.?
Yes
Yes, there is life after life on Earth. I had a face to face with Jesus Himself
and others too.
Death Compacts
are when two or more living people promise among themselves that whoever dies
first will try to contact the other(s). Have you ever made such a
compact?
No
Did you observe or hear
anything regarding people or events during your experience that could be
verified later?
N0

What emotions did you feel
during the experience?
I was in awe..I felt relieved
knowing that he was ok yet I longed to see him again but knew that I would not
be seeing him again...at least not in this life
Was the experience witnessed
or experienced by others?
Yes
I was in a dormitory and
several others watched as I conversed with my dad...they didn't see anything
other than me talking and then crying..
Did you have any sense of
altered space or time?

With my father, it was strange
in that I was in two places at the same time...
Did you have a sense of
knowing, special knowledge, universal order and/or purpose?
N0 comment
Did you become aware of future
events?
