When my Aunt died we had to travel up to Indiana and I stayed in her house with my family and I was asleep in the bed when I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and then the floor creaked in it's certain spot and as I was rubbing my eyes I saw my Aunt in full shape and could tell what she had on, the color of her clothes and she had her silver watch on. First she went to the window, then turned to look at me and just stood there, I called out Aunt? Aunt Norma? but no response and she then turned and went out of the room and back down the stairs. The floor boards creaked and I went after her but did not see anyone. I checked on my mom and grandmother for they were in the next bedroom and they were fast asleep and so were the rest of the household. I guess she was telling me in her own way she was ok. She was like a mother to me besides my mother. We were so close, I still think of her often but I know she is better off now.
After I had put my cat down because of illness, I see him frequently in our house running around or walking through the hall. Sometimes I feel him sitting on the bed with me and other times he just walks around.
There are
other relatives that visit me too but the above ones were the most significant
ones.
