The shock of my Dad passing without any warning was unbearable and he did not get to meet my younger son
It was one week since his death and I had just came back after his funeral. The following night I was putting my younger don to bed and the lights in the bathroom started blinking on and off with a glow to them. I was praying before they started and my husband walked in and was amazed and was heading to go into bathroom and I said please put our older son to bed because I wanted what was happening to continue and it did all night.
Was the experience difficult to express in words? No
Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them? Yes
Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased? No
Did you see the deceased? No
Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased? No
Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased? No
Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know? No it was an experience and I felt comfort and peaceful for the first time in my grief that previously I thought could I get through this and I knew I had to for my children
How do you currently view the reality of your experience? Experience was definitely real I saw the lights blinking off and on but it was also glow like not off and on as I did for weeks after trying to see what made it blink if it was God or a short. Aldo my husband saw the lights. Then weeks later a thought came to go on the internet and look up and was so surprised to find all the others experiences. I felt peace that God cared about all of us to give us comfort in our grief.
Was the experience dream like in any way? No
Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience? Yes Awe wonder comfort loved by Hod for giving me thus experience
What was the best and worst part of your experience? Best was knowing God cares about me in my grief and my husband shared this with me
Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience? Yes Yes other things happened not as powerful can call to explain I am getting tired it's late
Did you have any changes of attitudes or beliefs following the experience? Yes God is with us always

Was the experience witnessed or experienced by others? Yes My husband walked in to our bedroom and saw the lights and wanted to walk in to the bathroom and I said please go downstairs to put our older son to bed I did not want what was going on to stop

Have you shared this experience with others? Yes I told my sisters we all had something happen and will explain more if contacted but we all feel comforted and feel blessed to have had our experiences
