Vivid dream while sleeping - I was in my garage trying to put Christmas
decorations in the attic. My husband appeared, seemed a little younger, happy,
dressed in yellow polo and black slacks. He said nothing at first. I called his
name and he said 'Yes, it's me'. His voice, his smile, him to a T. I asked what
was he doing here. He said he had figured out a way to come back but he couldn't
stay long. They would miss him and know he was gone. We hugged and kissed. He
was warm and felt real. He offered to help put the decorations away. He helped
for about a minute then said he had to go back because they would miss him. I
asked if he could come back again. He said he would try to do it again. He
faded.
I
immediately woke up to find that it was early morning (maybe 6 a.m.). I was
ecstatic to have finally dreamed of him (after 10 months) and it felt SO
incredibly real. I went to the kitchen to feed my cat. Turned on the coffee to
brew. Turned off the alarm system and went outside to get the newspaper. Picked
up a couple of seed pods in the driveway and tossed them in the garbage. Went
back inside. As I walked toward the kitchen, I heard loud music. I started to
walk toward the noise on the other side of the house and got scared that someone
was in the house because music was blasting. I realized that no one could be in
there because I had just turned off the alarm system. (My cat was sitting in the
kitchen floor cleaning her face after her breakfast. Hadn't moved from the
kitchen.) I walked back toward the music and found a radio in the guest bedroom
playing the FloRida song 'Sometimes I get a good
Feeling'. I had never heard of FloRida prior to that or the song. I was kind
of freaked out. The On/Off button was in the On position! Nothing else was set
to come on or anything. No power surges...nothing flashing anywhere in the
house. I had not been in that room for weeks. Went to get in my car to go to
church, FloRida was playing again on car radio! Went to church, left to come
home...hesitantly turned on radio to FloRida again! Needless to say, I heard
that song many times that day and thereafter.
What do I think? Most definitely after death communications...all of it. No
coincidence. I've had other strange things happen (not from him, I don't think)
in the last few years but I haven't seen him again or felt him.
Was this experience difficult to express in words?
No
Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the

communicated:
It was communication ….talking, hearing, seeing,
feeling through a dream; then actual music playing from radio after waking up.
Did the voice or sound seem to
originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice
or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?
Vivid dream.
If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar
from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?
His voice in the dream

Asleep and home alone.

Yes
Happy, glad to have found me, and see me again. He was relaxed.
Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?
Others were with him where ever he came from. They watch him or watch over him.
Not sure about that.
How do you currently view the reality of your experience?
Experience was
definitely real
Please explain why you view the reality of your experience as real or not
real:
If the experience with the radio and that crazy
song hadn't happened, I would have chalked it all up as a very colorful dream.
Something that I needed to experience in order to find some solace.
Was the experience dream like in any way?
Yes
1st part was a vivid dream followed by an awake experience with a radio,
music, and a repetitive song.
Describe in detail
your feelings/emotions during the experience:
Surprised by seeing him, longing for him to stay, willing to let him return to
where he came from if he could come back again, really happy and relieved to see
him again. Scared when I heard the
radio playing on other side of house. Cautious about going in that empty room.
Confused when I listened to the words of the song. Wondered if it was a message
from him letting me know he was feeling good now. Had to have been him
communicating. He was highly educated and intelligent.
Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?
Yes
Not 100% by any means but I was able to sleep better and not as sad.
Consoling experience. Puzzling experience, also.
What was the best and worst part of your experience?
Seeing my husband was best part. Finding a blaring radio playing FloRida
sealed the whole experience as real. Worst part has been waiting to see if he
can come back again.
Has your life changed specifically as a result of
your experience?
Uncertain
Describe:
I'm definitely more aware that there are things going on that we don't fully
understand. I pray a lot more and have a much closer association with God these
days.
