After my mother's funeral, I went to New York to stay with my oldest sisters in New York. It was about two months after my mother had passed. My oldest sister had just come home from work, about 3:00 AM, and I heard her in the bathroom, washing up for bed. She said she heard someone in the hallway call her name in a raspy voice - twice. She came out of the bathroom and into the room I was with my other sister. She asked if either one of us had called her, and we told her no, so she went back to the bathroom, but a moment later, I turned over on my right side, hoping to go back to sleep. This is when I felt a feather-like touch on my left shoulder, and immediately I became paralyzed. My eyes were closed, and the only thing I could do was hear. I heard my mother's soft laugh. It was as if she, with her supernatural powers, controlled my body. She didn't want me to use any part of my earthly, physical being, not even see her with my physical eyes. She called me by name. I thought, why is Mother calling me. Doesn't she know that I can't open my mouth to answer her? She called me a second time, as if requesting my response. She wanted me to acknowledge her voice, her presence. But, again, I kept quiet, frightened, not knowing what to do. How was I to communicate with her, I wondered.
Then, a third time, she called me by name. With strong surprise, I answered - TELEPATHICALLY. Because I did not, or could not, open my mouth. I said "yes Mother." She told me that she was okay, and that when I return to S. C. to go and live with my father, because he was all that I had. She said, Okay? - seeking another telepathic response from me. I answered telepathically, okay Mother. Seconds later, she showed me a beautiful scene of where she was, a park-like setting near water, beautiful green grass, flowers, and her friends who all were very happy. Everything there, including the blades of grass, was so alive and vivid. My mother looked very happy. She wore a red skirt and a white blouse. She stepped on a cloud and came closer to me. I don't know where I was, but I seemed suspended somewhere in the air. Nevertheless, she smiled as she sat on the white cloud, and within seconds, she was gone.
This was my first time
experiencing this type of communication with someone deceased - communication in
the spirit. AND NOW I KNOW THAT THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH HERE ON EARTH, AND
I'VE COMMUNICATED WITH MY DECEASED MOTHER. I AM CONVINCED HEAVEN EXISTS.
Nevertheless, when I arrived home in S.C. at my father's house, I immediately
told him about my experience. Surprisingly, he did not appear shocked or
surprised. He said, as he sat in his rocking chair, "so she finally caught up
with you, did she?" Everyone looked at Father in amazement. I said, "what do
you mean, finally caught up with me?" Father said, "your brother John (who
lived right down the street) had a visit from your mother too, and she asked him
where you were. He told your mother that you were in New York with your
sister." Believe me, if this wasn't confirmation that Mother really visited me,
then what is?!
