Let me start by saying my mom and dad are passed and both of my in-laws  , mostly they talk to me in my dreams , the main reason I'm writing this is because when my dad passed me and my sisters were holding my dad's hands as he was passing and all of a sudden the lights and the sink in the room started going on and off on and off , it was unreal and quite scary . The nurse walked in and saw this and said in all my years of working here , I've never seen anything like it ! Fast forward April 23rd of this year , had a total hysterectomy , when I woke up my husband was with me and said how are you feeling and I said good I just had a nice conversation with my dad ! He looked at me funny but I was very serious! My dad told me everything is going to be alright ! They all talk to me when I'm sleeping ? Ever since my surgery I hear tiny tiny bells? Does anyone know what this means ? One more when my father in law passed , I was in a light sleep , He passed right though me that it moved my bed , that was a little frightening ! I'm not nuts , just perplexed !! I've never saw anyone while I was awake ?

Was the experience difficult to express in words?     Yes   Having surgery but it happened at home to under no influence of anything

Did you ONLY sense an awareness of presence of the deceased without actually seeing, hearing, feeling or smelling them? Yes 

Did you hear the deceased or hear something associated with the deceased?   Yes   

Describe what you heard, how clearly you heard it and what was communicated:     Bells , smell perfume and this is a weird one dirty hair smell  

Did the voice or sound seem to originate externally or outside of you, inside you, or did you not hear a voice or sound, but had a sense of knowing what was communicated?   I heard them just like any other conversation 

If you heard a voice or sound, was it similar or dissimilar from the voice or sound the deceased made when they were alive?     Yes     

Is there any possibility what you heard was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   No  

Was there any possible impairment to your hearing at the time of the experience?   No

Did you feel a touch or experience any physical contact from the deceased?   Yes  

Describe where and how you were touched:     Felt like his soul went strait through me and shook me

Was the touch familiar or unfamiliar?   Familiar it felt like he was trying to get my attention  

Was anything communicated by the touch?   Just to let me know he was there?

Is there any possibility what you felt was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?   No

Did you see the deceased?   No           

Did the deceased appear or not appear to be the age at which they died?   Don't know but for some reason I knew it was him , it was a day after he passed        

Did you smell a distinct smell, scent, fragrance or odor associated with the deceased?    Yes

What smell, scent, fragrance or odor did you smell?    Aftershave

Was the smell, scent, fragrance or odor familiar?    Yes old spice

Was anything communicated by the smell?    No ,I'm still trying to understand it

Is there any possibility that the smell, scent, fragrance or odor was from any other source present in the surroundings at the time of your experience?    Nobody uses that brand

Could you sense the emotions or mood of the deceased?   Yes     Maybe he was not sure he passed

Did the deceased give you information you did not previously know?   I'm not sure I was scared

How do you currently view the reality of your experience?    Experience was definitely real    They all talk to me though dreams , because if they showed themselves I'd faint

Was the experience dream like in any way?    No    To me I felt totally real

Was there any emotional healing in any way following the experience?    Yes    I know there's something more after this

What was the best and worst part of your experience?    I enjoy talking with my deceased family I miss them

Has your life changed specifically as a result of your experience?    No
