I was sleeping.  I suddenly woke up so abruptly that I unconsciously sat stratight up while waking up.  I have never woke up that way before.  I immediately felt like a jolt of electricity hit me, moving through my body from my head all the way to my toes.  Like I felt the electricity move through my body.  It was quick.  Then it was gone.  I looked at the clock.  It was 1:13 a.m.  I thought to myself, someone just died, and I felt it.  I frightened me.  I checked on my family in the home, they were all okay, and sleeping.  I thought to myself, that was strange.  This happened on Saturday night, or Sunday morning at 1:13 a.m.  The next morning I told my mother about my experience.  She thought it was strange also.  We dismissed it.  Monday evening I discovered my father had died.  It was not until later in the week that I put together that the day and time of my father's death was Saturday night, or Sunday morning where the time of death was determined to have been between 12:00 and 1:00 a.m.  I had finally put it together that it was my father that I had felt die.  I felt him die somehow.  I truly believe that.  I discussed it with my mom and asked her if she remembered me telling her, and we were both rather shocked.  I do not understand my experience.  Why did my father travel through me, and how, and was it after he died or exactly when he died.  I would like to try to understand my experience.  As it has left my rather confused.  Is this possible?  If yes, why?
