My son Brad passed over Nov. 2001

It all started with a dream of a girl sitting on the edge of the bed telling me she was Brad's wife I said "Ok" and woke up.  On my way to work, I started talking to Brad aloud in my car asking him if that was really his wife or the devil playing games with me.  You have to let me know if that was your wife is that why you were unhappy here because she was there?  My work hours are 6:30 to 4:15.  When I got to work, my voice message light was on and when I retrieved, my message there was my son voice saying,  Must be true.  That happed around 5:45am April 25, 2002. 

Therefore, I asked my husband to get me a tape recorder for a Mother's day gift so I could try to tape Brad from home.  The day before Mother's day we went to Radio Shack and purchased a voice activated mini cassette recorder and a mic.  For Mother's Day, we were having a cook out.  My mother said to me it is going to rain, I told her I looked up the weather on the Internet and it said it was going to rain on Monday so it shouldn't rain.  Before going to bed, I set up the recorder right next to my bed.  Now my husband snores loudly and he keeps the TV on all night, so I told Brad if he wanted me to hear him he had to talk loud and right into the microphone.  The next morning I got up and listen to the tape, I had to go through about 2 hours of snoring and there it was, I could hear food steps coming up beside my bed and Brad saying Shouldn't rain.  What a Mother's Day gift that was it made my day.

I have other tapes of him.  One night I was sitting on the couch with my tape recorder.  I said into the recorder "Hi my name is Debbie what is yours and about 2 minute later I repeated this, then I listen to the tape I did not hear anything on it. I place that recorder on the bedside table and forgot about it.  On Sept. 11, I was recording in his room with a different recorder.  I felt the spirit would be strong on that day because of the twin towers, so I left the recorder on all day.  When I listen to it, I heard a weird voice on it with an accent.  It said An hour after the plane come down, can you imagine life without her.  Space in between then it says, It was an horrific accident and life without Peggy.  A friend and I research the plane accident and found out the Pilot wife name is Peggy.  All the sudden that tape recorder stops working, I was upset, and my husband told me to take it back.  My reply was Yea right and it will work perfectly fine for the sales person.  So I went in to get the tape record from my bedside, I always listen to the tapes to make sure I am not taping over anything.  To my amazement on the beginning of the tape, I could hear my son voice saying Hi it is Brad.  Then you could hear me say Hi my name is Debbie what is your?  Now this is the tape I did not hear anything on and put it on the bedside table.  So to top it off I went back to see if the other tape recorder in my son's room would work and it did.  I feel Brad zap it so to speech to get me to listen to the other tape

I have always believed in life after death.  What these tape have done for me is now I KNOW there is life after death, and I have to thank my son and G-d for give him the OK to reach out to me.  These tapes have also helped me through the grieving process.  What a pleasant feeling to know his is still here with us in spirit.  Although I miss the physical touch, my heart can still touch the spirit.

My son proved to me that there is no death just the shedding of skin. I now know that are loved ones all always with us

What was the best and worst part of your experience?      The best is the tapes the worst is I wish it would happen more often. not only is it getting less frequent but harder to understand

All different. some want  to hear the tapes, other don't because they think it is the devil work. But the ones who hear the tapes get goose bumps. and for me I cherish the tapes I get to hear my sons voice over and over again.
